Alumni Summer Gathering 2026

On August 17, SFAA had the privilege of co-organizing a summer meet-up for recently returned Slovak alumni of Fulbright programs, including the Fulbright Scholar Program, Fulbright Visiting Student Program, Proshek-Fulbright Program, and Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship.

The grantees spoke about the adverse effects of DBS as a treatment for Parkinson’s disease, the role of prions in cardiomyopathies, building bridges in public health, social services and education, as well as trustworthy journalism and the role of AI in teaching.
